Belt docking is an important process involving multiple fields, including the connection of automotive engine belts, motor belts, and industrial equipment such as belt bucket elevator belts. When connecting belts, the following precautions should be taken: 
1、 Preparation work 
Tool preparation: Ensure that suitable tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, belt tensioning tools, etc. are prepared. 
Neat environment: Keep the work environment clean and tidy, and avoid debris entering the engine compartment or equipment interior. 
Belt inspection: Before docking, the new belt should be inspected to ensure that there are no defects such as damage, cracks, or deformation. 
2、 Docking steps 
Mark alignment: 
For car engine belts, first rotate the crankshaft and align the markings on the crankshaft pulley with the markings on the engine timing cover. 
Install the camshaft pulley so that the markings on the camshaft pulley correspond to the markings on the timing cover. 
Belt installation: Install the belt onto each pulley in sequence, paying attention to the direction and tension of the belt. 
Tension adjustment: Adjust the tension wheel to maintain the appropriate tension of the belt. You can determine whether the tension is appropriate by pressing the belt and checking its deflection. 
3、 Docking details and precautions 
Belt buckle matching: The belt buckle (belt buckle) used for the belt joint must match the thickness of the belt. 
Vertical interface: The belt interface must be perpendicular to the centerline of the belt to prevent accidents caused by belt running and tearing during transportation. 
Uniform belt buckle: A belt joint must use a uniform model of belt buckle. The hook shaped clip of the belt buckle should be arranged in a straight line and parallel to the belt cut to prevent the interface from forming a ladder shape and causing the belt to deviate. 
Selection of joint position: 
According to the structure of different models, choose the best position for making joints, and rotate this position to the ideal location for making heads when stopping the machine. 
As much as possible, make incisions at the original joints to shrink or extend the tape, avoiding excessive and dense joints on the entire conveyor belt, which may affect the tensile strength of the tape. 
Cut off power and safety measures: 
When replacing or repairing belt joints, it is necessary to cut off the power supply of the main unit, lock its switch locking screw, and hang a work sign that reads "If someone is working, power supply is prohibited". 
Ensure that the belt driver or relevant personnel are specifically responsible for guarding and prohibit anyone from delivering electricity for any reason. 
Belt cutting and joint production: 
The belt cut must be neat and free from tearing. 
Use a specialized steel template to nail the prepared belt buckle into the belt interface. 
After the joint is connected, it should be checked and ensured to be tight and secure, and the bolts should be tightened. 
Tensioning and adjustment: 
After the belt joint is connected, the tensioning device should be adjusted to ensure that the belt tension is appropriate. 
After running the equipment for a period of time, check the tightness of the belt again to ensure proper tension. 
Regular inspection and maintenance: 
Regularly check the condition of the belt, including wear and tear, tightness, etc. 
Discover problems and promptly handle or replace them to ensure the normal operation and performance of the belt.

  2. 接口垂直:皮带接口必须与皮带中心线垂直,以防止皮带运输中跑偏撕裂皮带造成事故。

  3. 皮带扣统一:一个皮带接头上必须用统一型号的皮带扣,皮带扣勾形卡子勾入皮带的孔应排列成一条直线,并平行于皮带切口,防止接口成梯形状,造成皮带跑偏。

  4. 接头位置选择

    • 根据不同的机型结构,选好做接头的最佳位置,并在停机时将此位置转动到便于做头的理想地段。
    • 尽可能在原有接头处开切口收缩或加长胶带,避免整条输送带上接头过多过密,影响胶带的抗拉强度。
  5. 切断电源与安全措施

    • 在进行皮带接头更换或维修时,必须切断主机电源,锁紧其开关闭锁螺杆,并挂上“有人工作,禁止送电”的工作牌。
    • 确保皮带司机或相关人员专门看护,不准任何人以任何理由送电。
  6. 皮带切口与接头制作

    • 皮带切口必须整齐,不得有撕裂现象。
    • 使用专用的钢制模板,将所备的皮带扣钉入皮带接口上。
    • 接头接好后,应检查并确保其紧密牢固,螺栓拧紧。
  7. 张紧与调整

    • 皮带接头接好后,应调整张紧装置,确保皮带张紧度合适。
    • 运行设备一段时间后,再次检查皮带的松紧度,确保张紧合适。
  8. 定期检查与维护

    • 定期检查皮带的状况,包括磨损程度、松紧度等。
    • 发现问题及时处理或更换,确保皮带的正常运行和性能发挥。
