Smaller drum spacing or internal movement of the support frame will shorten the working length of the conveyor belt, thereby increasing the bandwidth; However, larger drum spacing or outward movement of the support frame will increase the working length of the conveyor belt and reduce its width. This method requires adjusting the mechanical structure, which is relatively complex, but can achieve width adjustment without replacing the conveyor belt. 
4、 Adjust the tensioning device 
Adjusting the tension device of the conveyor belt can change the tension level of the conveyor belt, thereby affecting the bandwidth to a certain extent. Relaxing the tensioning device appropriately can increase the flexibility of the bandwidth, but attention should be paid to avoiding belt slippage; The tightening device can maintain the stability of the conveyor belt, but may reduce the available range of bandwidth. This method is usually used as an auxiliary tool. 
5、 Adopting a modular design with adjustable width 
Some advanced belt conveyors adopt a modular design with adjustable width, allowing users to quickly adjust the width of the conveyor according to their actual needs. This design typically includes detachable or sliding side panels, adjustment mechanisms, and other components that can be easily adjusted in width through simple operations.
